FINANCIAL POLICY

Patient Payments

Payment for same day services, such as repairs, relines, and office visits are expected at the time of service. The fee for an office visit is kept to a minimum, and covers the expense of cleaning and disinfecting the room and tools we use every day. This important expense keeps our patients and our staff safe.

Payment for a new prosthetic is typically split into two payments, half of the balance on the day the fabrication starts, and the balance due on the day the prosthetic leaves the office. If you have dental insurance included in your treatment estimate, this may apply only to the patient.

Insurance Payments

We work with most dental insurance, and accept payments directly from insurance companies to mitigate your out of pocket expense. Please provide our office with all of the appropriate information at your consultation appointment.

We work hard to provide patients with the most accurate outline for their anticipated insurance benefit however, these are estimates only. If your insurance company fails to make the estimated payment, the balance for all services rendered is the patients’ responsibility.

Please note that some insurance companies will only make payments directly to the patient. We will do our best to inform you of this prior to starting your treatment and will still submit claims to your insurance for you, but your payments will be expected as that of an uninsured patient.

We are unfortunately not accepting MaineCare patients at this time. portion.

Financing

We do not offer in house financing. While we understand the large expense that dentures or partials can be, we simply cannot assume the risk associated with in office payment plans.

For patients with credit approval, we accept CareCredit and would be happy to provide you with an application. Once a treatment fee has been charged to CareCredit account, payments and any associated interest charges are between the patient and CareCredit.
